Have you heard of the Pomodoro Technique?

This is a classic method of dividing your work into sprints. Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, the classic break down is to time yourself for 25 minutes of work and then take a 5 minute break.

You can divide your time however you like, but it seems to work so well based on the reward system. “I work for 25 minutes now, and then I can take a 5 minute break.” Have you ever tried it?

🏃 Cheetah: Nature’s Speed Machine

I remember learning as a child that cheetahs were the fastest land animals, but it never occurred to me to compare them to cars! It’s crazy to think that the Ferrari Enzo’s acceleration is just slightly lower that a cheetah’s! 🤯

And their lungs, liver, and heart are 3x bigger than a lion’s! (Proportionally.)

🧠 Quote of the Week

You could be good today. But instead you choose tomorrow.

Marcus Aurelius

What I think: I think about this somewhat frequently, especially if I’m noticing myself procrastinating. For me it’s a call to action. There’s so much potential in now, and if you begin to consider how your actions can compound into something great, it almost pulls you forward. (Or, if you stand still for no reason, you could slide backwards…)

What do you think?

Thank you so much for spending some of you precious time with me. 🙂
