Mental Love, Gray, and Free Startup Ideas
Happy Saturday, friend!
We’re back again with another edition of Productivity + Habits + Fun
😃 Fun Fact of the Week
A shrimp’s heart is in its head.
I wonder if shrimps always have love on their minds? 🤔💗

Always look for an opportunity to add a little extra value.
You’ll never regret it.
💪 Featured Productivity Tip
Your phone is your #1 time-stealer.
Between gamification tactics and colors more-vivid-than-life, it’s no wonder that we spend hours of our day on them.
Do yourself a favor and try turning on Grayscale mode.
You’ll be shocked at the difference.

I don’t know a lot about EVs.
Do any of these surprise you?

🤔 Decision-making Idea
Moral Luck: After a positive outcome, there is a tendency to attribute a positive moral character as the driving force behind the win.
This also works in reverse.
Example: When we look back in history, we tend to view the victors as somehow morally superior to the vanquished.
In that scenario, the winners get to tell the story.
They can gloss over (or eliminate) their bad side and highlight the bad side of the loser.
Always remember that life is so much more complicated than this.
It’s worth taking some time to explore what isn’t being presented to better understand the truth.
🧠 Quote of the Week
The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.
What I think:
I think this is another way to view the famous quote, “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step.”
I’ve had several moments in my life where I spent way too much time thinking about doing the thing instead of actually doing it.
Asking someone for forgiveness
Talking to that pretty girl
Beginning this newsletter
These experiences all taught me that the thought of beginning is more difficult that doing the act itself.
In all cases I wasted time AND stressed over something that is fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
I hope you’ll learn my lesson and just go act!
The thing you want most is almost always just outside your comfort zone.
You’ve got this!
Thank you so much for spending some of you precious time with me. 🙂
I’m always looking to improve, so hit “reply” and let me know what you think!
Have an awesome week.
Sincerely,
Steven Sanders
